Sewing & Crafting: Fold'n Stitch Wreath

This stunning wreath was designed by Kristine Poor of Poorhouse Quilt Designs.  It can be made to celebrate any holiday or special event by simply changing the fabric and the center embellishments.  The wreath evens looks great as a centerpiece with a candle in the middle.

This wreath can be made in 4-5 hours.  It was designed for the advanced beginner.

While making this wreath you will learn how to:  use fabric markers; both straight and square quilting rulers; how to use a rotary cutter; how to fuse stabilizer to fabric; how to make a quilt sandwich (although it will be very small); how to turn fabric; use of decorative stitches; how to piece blocks; how to sew a fabric sleeve to the back of the wreath for hanging;  and how to hand stitch on embellishments.

Come to the store and select your fabric approximately one week prior to class.  That gives us time to cut the fabric and assemble your kit.

This pattern requires that you have a Creative Grid 30 Degree Starburst Ruler (CGRISE30) and a zipper foot.   (Available in store with 10% discount).
