Rose's Strip Club - "Whirlygig" by Amelie Scott Designs

Come to the shop at least one week prior to class to select your jelly roll, background fabric, and batting.  Please support us by purchasing your fabric from us.  And you will receive a 10% discount.

In this class you will learn how to select fabric, prepare your fabric for cutting, cutting and sub-cutting the fabric, using rulers to square-up your cuts, assembling and sewing your blocks, assembling your rows and columns, making a quilt sandwich, stitching-in-the-ditch, and making a bias binding and sewing it on.

Each of the above steps have many little aspects that are critical to learning to quilt properly.  Plan on coming to each class prepared to learn and have fun.

The pattern, fabric, batting, thread, and any supplies you may need are additional.   You will only need basic quilting supplies for this class.  If you are new to sewing and/or quilting, we will show you the various supplies you need.  It is not necessary to spend your children's inheritance to make this quilt.  There is a 10% discount on everything you purchase for the class.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Student must know their sewing machine. They must know how to independently thread their sewing machine, change the thread, wind a bobbin, insert the bobbin, sew a straight line, and how to use a rotary cutter.
Materials Included: You must come to the shop at least one week prior to class and select your fabric and any supplies you may need. Do not wait until the class start date, that doesn't allow us enough time to cut your background fabric.
