Christmas Stocking

Come and make with us your very own Christmas stocking. We will be making and using a string block front with a solid or patterned back for the body of the stocking and the cuff. We will achieve the body of the stocking and the cuff using the AccuQuilt Go Stocking die while in class.

The class will learn how to make a string block using paper that will be removed before getting cut by the Go cutter. Written instructions will be given for the class. In the two hour period you will make the string block, have the stocking cut and assemble the stocking to take home.

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Student must know their sewing machine. They must know how to independently thread their sewing machine, change the thread, wind a bobbin, insert the bobbin, sew a straight line
Materials Included:	2 Fat Quarters, Thread, Paper for the String Block, Strips for the String Block, Thread
Requirements:	Bring your sewing machine (in good working condition), the power cord and foot pedal, the user's manual, an empty bobbin, and basic sewing supplies as listed in Class Guidelines on the website. Specifically, you need a small fabric scissors, fabric clips or pins
