Sewing Pad & Notions Organizer
I don't know what I ever did without this organizer. Sewing is much more pleasant when you have what you need at your finger tips. And this pad is a fun and easy to project to make.
The kit I prepare will contain everything you need to make this project. The kit is purchased in the shop on the day of class. It is sold at a discount for students. If you would like to choose the fabric for your project, please come to the store and select it at least 3 days prior to the class date so I have time to cut the fabrics and prepare the kits. Thank you.
First you will layer your top fabric, batting, and bottom fabric to make a quilt sandwich. Then I will teach you a couple of quilting techniques you can use. And last, but on least, I will show you how to attach the pockets for the notions.
You are now a creative genius to be admired by all.

| Skill Details: | Student must know their sewing machine. They must know how to independently thread their sewing machine, change the thread, wind a bobbin, insert the bobbin, sew a straight line, and how to use a straight ruler. |
| Materials Included: | A kit has been prepared for each student by the shop. The kit includes all material needed to complete this project. |
| Requirements: | Bring your sewing machine (in good working condition), the power cord and foot pedal, the user's manual, an empty bobbin, and basic sewing supplies as listed in Class Guidelines on the website. Specifically, you need fabric snips or small scissors, 6-12" straight ruler, medium or large safety pins, quilting pins, fabric clips (optional), light & dark colored fabric marker, small ironing mat and travel iron (optional). Please bring a drink, bagged lunch or snack, sweater, and a face mask. |

| Instructor Bio: | Rose P., the owner is new to most sewing, but has been an avid maker most of her life. Some of her crafts include quilting, stained glass, stringing beads, watercolor painting, mixed media, a little metal work, wreath making, flower arrangements, knitting, scrap booking, and a little fiber spinning. |
