Sewing & Quilting: Rag Quilt

It is very important that you come to the shop at least 4 days prior to class to select your fabric.  That will allow us a few days to cut the fabric before class.  This is a fun project.  It is easy enough for beginners, yet whimsical enough for the experienced quilter.  Cutting the fringed edges of each block can make it possible for friends or family members be part of the action.  The fringe is the last thing you do before washing your quilt.  The washing will causes the sniped edges to unravel to reveal the finished project.

You won't be able to finish during class, but you will complete several rows to build your confidence and finish the remainder home.  If not, you can come back during "open sewing" (when we aren't conducting other classes) to finish.   If those options are not convenient, we can work out another plan for you.  Make arrangements with the instructor.  There are no additional charges for finishing the throw in subsequent sessions.
