Machine Embroidery: Santa's Ride Wall Hanging
Step into the magical world of Santa's Ride, where a grandiose sight awaits you. Picture a majestic Santa Claus soaring through the sky, guiding his sleigh filled with Christmas presents over a bustling town. This exquisite collection captures the enchantment of this scene with elaborate details, including stunning applique work and shimmering metallic thread.
While the idea of creating a tile scene project may initially seem daunting, fear not! We've made it easy and enjoyable for crafters of all skill levels. The Santa's Ride collection consists of twenty separate squares, each embroidered individually and trimmed with a seam allowance all around. Once the squares are trimmed, stitching them together using a simple straight stitch is all that's needed. To add a finishing touch, sew a ribbon along the seams, accentuating the beauty of the scene.
To guide you through the process, we have included a comprehensive tutorial that provides step-by-step instructions. You'll find all the fabric we used for the project, as well as the pattern for creating a stunning wall hanging. The collection offers three different size blocks for the scene: 4"x4", 5"x5", and 6"x6". Additionally, we have included various sayings and border elements to help you personalize and complete your projects with finesse.
There are 5 classes in total. The first, second, and third class session are embroidery and pattern instruction. You may complete one block during this session or as many as you wish. All twenty blocks need to be finished by the beginning of the fourth session (The fourth and fifth class sessions are instructions for assembling the blocks, borders, and binding. The number of class sessions and the duration of each class are estimates. You will be working at your own pace with the goal of completion prior to Christmas. You may also come to the shop for assistance, as needed, between class sessions. You can skip ahead to assembling the blocks, borders, and binding whenever you complete 20 blocks; you do not have to wait until the 4th or 5th session.

Individual cutting mat (small), travel iron & ironing mat (small), 12" quilter's ruler. All supplies are available at the shop with a 10% discount. |
