Machine Embroidery: Garden Screen
You will be embroidering flowers on fiberglass window screen that will make you smile every time you see it. This project is easy, fast, and fun!
Class Kit Cost: $10.00 and includes fiberglass screen and Aqua Magic Stabilizer. Purchase is required.
You will need Rayon or polyester (polyester if it will be weathered) embroidery thread. Use the project photo to determine what colors you want to use. If you need to purchase any thread, please do it in advance of the class date so that you can come to class ready. If you are going to use the same thread colors in your bobbins, please have all your bobbins pre-wound prior to the class date. White bobbin thread also looks good on the reverse side of the project.
You are required to pay for the class when you register. You can come in, call, or e-mail us to register and make payment to reserve your seat. If you do not, we cannot guarantee you a seat.
| Skill Level: | Beginner |
| Skill Details: | Beginners are capable of completing this class but should know how to use their machine; know how to thread the machine; how to wind and change a bobbin; and how to hoop the stabilizer and fabric. If you don't know these things you should probably take a beginning embroidery class first. Beginner embroidery will be on our class calendar very soon and this class will be repeated. |

| Requirements: | You will need an embroidery unit and the 360 x 260 hoop. Call at least five days prior to class and provide the dimensions of your window screen so we can have the Aqua Magic and fiberglass screen cut to size prior to class. If you do not call, the screen will be cut just large enough to fit the 360 X 260 embroidery hoop (approx 19" x 22"). Pre-wind your bobbins as mentioned above. There is no class time allocated for choosing threads and winding bobbins. Please do both things before class day. |

| Instructor Bio: | Joe is an excellent instructor with years of experience sewing, quilting, and embroidering. Joe has made this project several times for classes and friends. As a retired wood shop teacher, he has years of knowledge and experience teaching in a classroom setting. This will be a fun and educational class. |
