Sewing: Wednesday Scrappers



This class is constantly evolving.  It is lots of fun.  Bring in your fabric scraps and we will give you different ideas of how you could use them to make quilts, table runners, mug rugs, etc....    We will answer your questions and guide you through your projects.  No patterns needed.   



Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Student must know their sewing machine. They must know how to independently thread their sewing machine, change the thread, wind a bobbin, insert the bobbin, sew a straight line, and how to use a rotary cutter.
Materials Included: None
Requirements: Bring your sewing machine (in good working condition), the power cord and foot pedal, the user's manual, an empty bobbin, and basic sewing supplies as listed in Class Guidelines on the website. Specifically, you need fabric snips, a rotary cutter and cutting mat (if possible), straight pins, light & dark colored fabric marker, small ironing mat and travel iron (if possible). Please bring a drink, bagged lunch or snack and sweater (a face mask if desired).
Instructor: Rose
Instructor Bio: Rose P., the owner, has been an avid maker most of her life. Some of her crafts include quilting, stained glass, stringing beads, watercolor painting, mixed media, a little metal work, wreath making, flower arrangements, knitting, scrap booking, and a little fiber spinning.
