Sewing & Quilting: Christmas Rag Lap Quilt

This is a fun project.  It is easy enough for beginners, yet whimsical enough for the experienced quilter.  Cutting the fringed edges of each block can make it possible for friends or family members be part of the action.  The fringe is the last thing you do before washing your quilt.  The washing will causes the sniped edges to unravel to reveal the finished project.

You won't be able to finish during class, but you will complete several rows to build your confidence and finish the remainder at home.  If not, you can come back during "open sewing" (when we aren't conducting other classes) to finish.   If those options are not convenient, talk to Rose and she will work out a solution.  There are no additional charges for finishing the lap quilt in subsequent sessions.

The below photos do not represent the actual size or fabric for the lap quilt that will be made in class.  This class will teach you how to make these quilts.
